Precision. Presence. Performance.

High performance is not your problem.

You already know how to execute under pressure.

You carry responsibility, make decisions that matter, and hold standards most people around you will never understand.

What rarely gets examined is the internal structure behind that performance, the regulation, clarity, and discipline required to sustain it without unnecessary friction.

HPSP is a private performance advisory designed for individuals like you, athletes, executives, founders, and high-responsibility operators who want their internal operating system to be as deliberate as their results.

If you carry responsibility at a high level, you already know how to perform.

You’ve learned how to push.

You’ve learned how to produce.

You’ve learned how to hold composure when other people can’t.

What’s harder to find is someone who understands the internal cost of sustaining that.

The constant activation.

The standards that don’t shut off.

The pressure to execute without visible hesitation.

Most people around you either depend on you, or aren’t operating at your level.

HPSP exists for that gap.

This is a private performance advisory focused on strengthening the internal operating structure behind your execution, so you don’t have to rely on force, urgency, or pressure loops to stay sharp.

We don’t lower your standard.

We stabilize the system that carries it.

This is not therapy.

This is not motivation.

This is not a “daily accountability” container.

This is disciplined, private work focused on strengthening the architecture behind how you perform.

Next step: request consideration.

What This Work Actually Does

You probably don’t need more information.

What you need is refinement.

At high levels of responsibility, small inefficiencies compound.

Minor internal friction becomes expensive.

Subtle volatility becomes noticeable over time.

This work focuses on four areas that quietly shape how you execute.

1) INTERNAL ALIGNMENT

When your standards, priorities, and self expectations are aligned, performance feels direct.

When they drift, even slightly, execution becomes heavier than it needs to be.

We tighten that alignment so your output feels intentional, not forced.

2) REGULATION UNDER LOAD

Not emotional regulation.

Load regulation.

Your ability to increase intensity when the moment requires it and deliberately decrease it when the moment is over.

You already know how to activate.

What most high performers struggle with is disengaging cleanly.

This work strengthens that transition.

3) DECISION CLARITY

Under pressure, options multiply and noise increases.

We simplify the structure behind your decisions so action becomes cleaner and less internally expensive.

Less second-guessing.

Less internal debate.

More deliberate movement.

4) SUSTAINABLE EXECUTION RHYTHM

Intensity is powerful.

But intensity without rhythm creates cycles.

We build a cadence that allows you to maintain your standards without relying on constant force.

Same ambition.

Greater stability.

If you’re a fit, you’ll recognize this

At high levels of responsibility, performance is expected.

You execute.

You carry weight.

You’re measured by outcomes.

For some operators, performance is strong, but the internal structure behind it hasn’t been examined in detail.

Not because something is wrong.

Because at a certain level, refinement becomes relevant.

Sometimes that refinement is about reducing unnecessary friction.

Sometimes it’s about increasing precision.

Sometimes it’s about ensuring the system beneath your output is as deliberate as the output itself.

HPSP is built for operators who take that level of examination seriously.

This is disciplined, private work focused on strengthening the architecture behind sustained execution.

Who this is for:

HPSP is designed for:

+ high-performing athletes (priority)

+ C-suite leaders, founders, and operators with real responsibility

+ people who value precision, privacy, and structure

+ people who are coachable and ready to implement, not just discuss

+ people with the capacity to invest without negotiation

Why we only accept 2 new clients per month

This is a quality standard.

The work requires deliberate attention.

We examine how you operate: how decisions are made, how responsibility is carried, and how your current structure supports execution.

Where refinement is necessary, we make it explicit and practical.

That level of detail cannot be rushed.

To support that properly, HPSP only accepts two new clients per month.

That allows us to deliver the highest level of attention, precision, and integration, without diluting the work.

About Derek

Dr. Derek Hurschman operates at the intersection of performance, consequence, and structural refinement.

He is a former professional athlete, former college football coach, and former psychotherapist who now works privately with athletes, executives, founders, and high-responsibility operators.

He has operated inside environments where performance is visible, pressure is sustained, and outcomes carry weight.

He has operated through success, transition, and rebuilding, always returning to disciplined structure. That lived experience informs the work.

Dr. Hurschman holds a doctorate in psychology and brings both clinical depth and competitive experience to the examination of how high performers think, decide, carry responsibility, and sustain output over time.

His focus is structural, not motivational.

Execution mechanics.

Decision architecture.

Deliberate regulation of intensity.

Stability without loss of standard.

What you can expect: Direct feedback. Discretion. Precision. A structured process. Limited capacity by design.

Frequently Asked Question

Is this therapy?

No. This is performance advisory. If clinical support is more appropriate, that will be stated directly.

Do you offer daily messaging or unlimited access?

No. Communication and support are structured by design.

What happens after I apply?

If you’re a fit, you’ll receive an invitation to a 15-minute qualification call. If not, you’ll receive a direct response.

Who is this for?

This is for high performing individuals such as athletes, executives, founders, and other professionals operating under meaningful pressure who want more structure, precision, and stability in how they perform.

Who is this not for?

This is not for those seeking therapy, diagnosis, emergency support, quick fixes, motivational coaching, or unlimited emotional access.

Is this coaching?

No. This is performance advisory. The work is structured around performance, decision making, regulation under pressure, and internal alignment.

Do I need to start with the Strategic Audit first?

In most cases, yes. The Strategic Audit helps determine what is actually needed and whether there is a strong fit for a deeper advisory relationship.

How do I know which offer is right for me?

That is determined through the application and qualification process. The goal is not to place you into the highest offer by default, but into the right level of work based on fit and need.

Can I book directly without applying?

No. The application is part of the filtering process and helps ensure alignment before any invitation is extended.

What happens during the 15 minute qualification call?

The qualification call is used to assess fit, clarify goals, and determine whether the work is appropriate. It is not a sales call.

How long does it take to hear back after I apply?

Applications are reviewed promptly. If there is a strong fit, you will receive an invitation to the next step. If not, you will receive a direct response.

What if I am not accepted?

If the fit is not right, that will be stated directly. The purpose of the application process is clarity, not pressure.

Do you offer refunds?

No. Advisory work and retainers are non refundable once the service period has begun.

Do you offer discounts or promotions?

No. The work is intentionally positioned and priced without discounts, promotions, or urgency based selling.

Is communication available between sessions?

Communication is structured by design. Support happens within agreed boundaries and does not operate as unlimited access.

Do you offer daily messaging?

No. Communication is intentionally limited and structured so the work remains focused, serious, and sustainable.

What if I need to reschedule?

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Requests made inside that window may be treated as a completed session.

What if I miss a session?

Missed sessions without prior notice are considered completed sessions and are not eligible for rescheduling.

Is my information confidential?

Yes. Privacy and discretion are taken seriously. Applications, conversations, and client information are handled confidentially.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes. Services are offered online nationwide and internationally. In person work may be available when appropriate and with client covered travel arrangements.

Do you guarantee outcomes?

No. This work is designed to strengthen structure, clarity, regulation, and execution, but it does not guarantee financial, athletic, or personal outcomes.

What if I need therapy or clinical support?

If clinical care is more appropriate, that will be stated directly. This practice does not replace psychotherapy, medical treatment, or emergency support.

How many clients do you work with at a time?

Capacity is intentionally limited, especially at the private advisory level, in order to protect quality, structure, and discretion.

How long do clients usually stay in the work?

That depends on the offer, the individual, and the level of refinement needed. Some begin with a Strategic Audit, while others continue in an advisory relationship based on progress and alignment.

Is this for someone who is already functioning well?

Yes. This work is often most relevant for people who are already competent and high functioning, but know something in their internal system or execution is not as stable or precise as it should be.
